Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 2019, vol. 526, issue C

Abstract: A feedback control method is utilized with the consideration of the individual difference of drivers’ characteristics under honk environment on single lane. The linear stability analysis is implemented with feedback term in virtue of modern control method. Numerical simulations also show that the individual difference of drivers’ characteristics plays a different role on the stability of traffic flow.
