Verlinde’s conjecture in a Boltzmann–Gibbs relativistic frame

Abstract: Verlinde’s conjecture (VC) that gravitation is an emerging entropic force has been proved in a classical, non relativistic context in Plastino and Rocca (2018). Here we demonstrate the VC’s validity in a special relativity frame, starting with Chakrabarti’s relativistic free-particle partition function Chakrabarti et al. (2010).
