Abstract:
In this paper, a proportional reversed hazards weighted frailty model is considered. The model is treated by the concept of weighted distributions where a natural alteration in the baseline distribution in the ordinarily proportional reversed hazards model, illustrates the formation of the model. Stochastic variation of the model based on some stochastic orders is discussed. Finally, the model is motivated with several expository examples by which the model is potentially applied to analyze parallel systems with different formations of lifetime components. Data analysis of the model for a physical distribution is carried out.
