Abstract:
The statistical complexity measure defined by López-Ruiz, Mancini, and Calbet is reported for a single particle under q-deformed quantum harmonic oscillator. It is found that q-deformation leads to typically a different behavior in complexity. An interesting variation appears in the exponential Shannon information entropy and disequilibrium. The product of these, which defines the statistical complexity are reported and discussed. It is shown that the deformation parameter q can be used to tune the statistical complexity of the quantum harmonic oscillator.
