Generalized synchronization for coupled Markovian neural networks subject to randomly occurring parameter uncertainties

Abstract: In this paper, the issue of generalized synchronization for the coupled Markovian neural networks with randomly occurring parameter uncertainties is investigated. The coupling connection topology of such neural networks is assumed to be governed by the Markov process. Moreover, by means of a set of stochastic Bernoulli sequences, the random occurrence of the parameter uncertainties is adequately considered in coupled neural networks. Subsequently, via constructing a proper Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional together with employing some novel inequality techniques, some synchronization criteria are developed to ensure the resulting error system is not only stochastically synchronized, but also satisfies a prescribed generalized dissipative property. Based on these criteria, the gains of the admissible controller are obtained explicitly. Eventually, the practicability of the proposed synchronization scheme is verified via an illustrated example.
