Coupled cluster study of the coupled spin ladders with frustration

Jian-Jun Jiang

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 2020, vol. 540, issue C

Abstract: The properties of the coupled spin ladders with frustration are studied with the coupled cluster method. The results show that the Néel ordered phase and collinear ordered phase emerge in the phase diagram of the model as an effect of reduced quantum fluctuation induced by the increasing of the interladder exchange coupling. Those two ordered phases are separated by the quantum paramagnetic phase. The critical lines between two ordered phases and the disordered phase are determined by means of the coupled cluster method. Whether the ground state evolves from the Néel state to a gapless spin liquid state at the critical point αc1 is dependent on the value of the interladder exchange coupling.
