Abstract:
In the current analysis heat and mass assignment in non-axisymmetric Homann stagnation point flow due to a linear stretched sheet in the presences of a porous medium is studied. Viscous nanofluid flow and chemical reaction are used to explore the heat and mass transfer phenomena. In mathematical modeling of mass and heat transfer, modified forms of Fourier and Fick’s laws are implemented. The system of PDEs are renovated into strong nonlinear ODEs by used are appropriate transformation and then these renovated equations are solved by shooting scheme (Cash and Karp). The related important physical parameters are discussed thoroughly and illustrated by using tables and graphs. Effects of developing parameters on friction factor, heat transfer, mass transfer, nano-concentration, temperature and velocity distributions are evaluated through graphs and tables. We observe that the base profile reduces with an increasing values of Hartmann number, porosity parameter and inertia factor. Moreover, for increasing values of thermal relaxation parameter, Prandtl parameter, concentration relaxation parameter, chemical reactive species and Lewis number, the temperature and concentration profiles illustrate reducing behavior.
