Abstract:
In continuation of our research regarding the phonon-induced properties of the low dimensional structures, we are investigating the impact of changes in boundary parameters onto the thermodynamic properties of the quasi 2D crystals (ultrathin films). Internal energy and thermal capacitance of the ultrathin film are theoretically analyzed and numerically and graphically presented for the various combinations of boundary surface parameters. This research is motivated by efforts to explain many unusual thermal properties of novel two-dimensional materials. The obtained results are also of great significance for the heat removal and other important physical properties and processes in ultrathin films, with special emphasis to the improvement of the superconducting properties towards the high TC superconductivity.
