Abstract:
The effect of the Gaussian random field distribution on the critical behavior and the hysteresis characteristics of the binary alloy represented by the formula AcB1−c has been investigated within the framework of effective field theory. Some characteristics related to the critical behavior have been obtained, such as disappearing reentrant behavior and first order transitions by the increasing randomness in the field. On the other hand, effect of the random field on the hysteresis characteristics has been worked out. Some interesting results have been obtained regarding the double hysteresis behaviors. It has been shown that double hysteresis behavior can survive under the effect of the Gaussian random field.
