Abstract:
We have derived the green’s function in the time domain for the presence of two localized sinks of finite strength on the potential energy surface in the barrierless reaction–diffusion processes. The previously proposed method (Saravanan and Chakraborty, 2020) has parametric limitations to find the time domain solution, whereas our present method gives the complete solution to the diffusion equation. Also experimentally observed nearly bi-exponential decay due to strong asymmetric placement of sinks has been observed.
