Abstract:
We calculate the dynamics of entropy for the Crow–Kimura evolution model on the static fitness landscape. For the standard version of the model we show that entropy is not a monotonic function of time. We solve the Smerlak’s modification of the Crow–Kimura analytically, deriving expressions for both the statics and dynamics. Contrary to the standard Crow–Kimura model, here entropy changes monotonically with time.
