Abstract:
Spin wave theory is considered for dipolar crystals with a demagnetized ferromagnetic state as the ground state. According to the anisotropy of the g-tensor the dispersion relations for the spin-wave energies are different. The temperature dependence of the specific heat and the spontaneous magnetization are calculated in the low-temperature limit.
