Abstract:
The kinetic equation for the dilute Lorentz gas of particles with repulsive-attractive potential, is derived. For that purpose the distribution function is decomposed into two parts: the one corresponding to the bounded motion of the marked particle and the second corresponding to its unbounded motion; only the second part, as representing the diffusion, is considered.
