A fast least-squares method for reduction of Burnett data to compressibility factors and virial coefficients

Abstract:
The proposed least-squares method for simultaneous determination of virial coefficients and Burnett constants exploits the fact, that some of the normal equations are linear in certain variables. It does not require any estimates of virial coefficients, only a rough estimate of the apparatus constant.
