Abstract:
The Burnett method was used to obtain compressibility factors and virial coefficients for propane, propene and their mixtures. Several expansion runs were made at about 120, 135, and 150°C, starting from pressures range of about 42–62 atm. In addition the results for propane at 100.00 and for propene at 106.98°C were reported. The interaction second virial coefficients for the mixture have also been calculated for the experimental temperatures.
