Critical dynamics of paramagnets with dipolar coupling

P. Borckmans, D. Walgraef and G. Dewel

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1978, vol. 91, issue 3, 411-423

Abstract: The influence of dipolar forces on the critical dynamics of ferro and antiferomagnets above the critical temperature is considered. The relaxation rates of the spin autocorrelation functions are calculated through the mode-mode coupling approach. They agree with Riedel and Wegner's dynamic scaling laws.
