Abstract:
A simplified method of renormalization-group theory, by which critical phenomena in N - component spin systems with long- and short-range interactions can be studied, is developed. The fixed points, the eigenvalues and the critical exponents (η, γ and φ) of the systems are investigated. Furthermore, a limitation of the description of long-range systems in terms of the pσ-inverse propagator and its improvement are discussed.
