The Fokker-Planc and Kramers-Chandrasekhar equations for semiclassical bosons and fermions

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1978, vol. 94, issue 3, 474-480

Abstract: In the following we derive a non-linear Fokker-Planck equation in the momentum space, and a non-linear Kramers-Chandrasekhar equation in the μ space for semiclassical fermions and bosons. The medium is still represented by a Gaussian random process, but the transition probabilities are so altered as to disallow transitions prohibited by the exclusion principle.
