Meromorphic solutions of the Benjamin-Ono equation

Abstract:
It is shown that the construction of N-soliton periodic solutions of the Benjamin-Ono equation can be reduced to solving an Nth order algebraic equation. If the period is infinite the solution is explicit and it is unnecessary to solve any algebraic equation.
