The classical limit for scattering in liquids

Michael Revzen, Amiram Ron and L.E.H. Trainor

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1979, vol. 99, issue 1, 365-368

Abstract: A new derivation is given of the so-called Schofield prescription for taking the classical limit of quantum expressions describing processes in which foreign particles are scattered off particles in a liquid. The results indicate that another term should be included in taking this classical limit.
