Abstract:
Being able to adapt successfully and efficiently to unexpected changes in the business environment or agile is key in gaining a competitive advantage in the global market. There has been little discussion in the open literature on measuring and quantifying agility. This paper is devoted to developing a framework and quantifying the notion of agility. We propose three techniques and associated metrics for determining enterprise agility. Lastly, the paper presents a case study related to Apple's digital media to demonstrate the utility of the methodology and associated metrics.
