Abstract:
Computer and communications technologies are changing the way the world shares information. Renewable energy professionals should use these tools to their utmost advantage to exchange information, recapture “lost opportunities” in sustainable development, and create better designs for the new century and beyond. CREST, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, and other federal and private agencies, is enabling such a future by creating innovative software tools and using online communications to foster the education, advancement and use of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
