Abstract:
A solar pond of area 5.712 m2 was constructed. It was filled with water to a height of 87.5 cm. The stability of density and temperature profile, variation of salt flux due to temperature and depth, temperature loss during night time, and the evaporation losses at the surface were analyzed.
