Abstract:
By solving the equation of the power balance of a room analytically, the thermal characteristic of a room is traced back to only three parameters: the loss factor, the time constant and the gain-to-loss ratio. With them, the free-run-temperature of the room is computed and therefrom a generally valid optimization strategy is deduced.
