The potential of liquid biofuels in France
Etienne Poitrat
Renewable Energy, 1999, vol. 16, issue 1, 1084-1089
Abstract:
The objective fixed by the European Commission in 1995 was that 5% of the fuel used for transport in France should be produced from renewable energy by 2005. As opposed to some other European countries, there is no environmental tax on fossil fuels in France, but the Government has agreed to a tax incentive system on biofuels.
