Abstract:
Life cycle assessments of fuel bioethanol produced in Uruguay from liquid hot water pretreated switchgrass were performed for two scenarios: the production of ethanol and electricity and a biorefinery producing ethanol, electricity, furfural, acetic, and formic acid.
