A model for small-scale photovoltaic solar water pumping

M Jafar

Renewable Energy, 2000, vol. 19, issue 1, 85-90

Abstract: A simple method for modelling the output of a solar photovoltaic water pumping system is presented. The model relies on data that can be quickly and relatively easily measured. The procedure of modelling is applied to Solar Star 1000 pumping system. The resulting model predicts the flowrate to within 8% of the measured values.
