Renewable Energy, 1991, vol. 1, issue 1, 59-65
Abstract:
A complete design and fabrication for a parabolic square dish solar cooker is presented. This cooker can be used for water distillation as well as cooking in an isolated area. A simulation model for transient state was introduced to predict the pot, fluid, air gap and cover temperatures. Satisfactory agreement are obtained by comparing experimental and theoretical results.
