Renewable Energy, 1991, vol. 1, issue 2, 219-222

Abstract: The selective properties of manganeses oxide films formed by dipping an aluminium substrate in an aqeuous solution consists of KMnO4 and HNO3 have been investigated. A correlation between these properties and deposition parameters was discussed. Chemical analysis of the oxide films was made by EPMA and AES surface techniques. The feasibility of using this oxide film as the selective surface has been demonstrated.
