Abstract:
In the case of isolated areas, power quality and service reliability are improved by fusion of the ac power generation with a PV system output. Such an arrangement decreases the operating costs considerably. The proposed model and the related reliability and performance indices illustrate the benefits of PV system fusion with ac generation.
