Abstract:
The objective of this article is to analyse the electric energy consumption behaviour of the residential sector in Mexico. This report includes an analysis of the states located in arid zones, as a reference for the case study in Mexicali, Baja California during the period from 1990 to 1998. A diagnosis was established in order to study the problem of high electricity consumption in arid zones.
