Exploring strategies for promoting green technology innovation in enterprises from the perspective of inter-enterprise interaction and enterprise behavioral preferences

Abstract: Enterprise green technology innovation (GTI) is not only an inevitable choice for enterprises to maintain market competitiveness, but also an important measure to respond to the goal of sustainable development in the world. Based on the economic experiment of GTI, this paper analyzes the impact mechanism of interactive behavior between enterprises and individual behavioral preference characteristics on GTI. Research has found that: (1) The punitive interaction between enterprises can significantly enhance GTI, while also significantly reducing green returns for enterprises; The reward interaction between enterprises significantly increases their green benefits, but the promotion effect on GTI is not significant. (2) Heterogeneity analysis shows that the promotion effect of punishment mechanisms among enterprises is more significant among women and individuals with negative environmental attitudes. (3) The GTI behavior, reward and punishment behavior of enterprises are significantly affected by the decision makers’ behavior preferences. The research results can help to analyze the forms and characteristics of competition and mutual assistance behavior among enterprises in the market, providing effective references for all sectors of society to jointly build a green innovation market atmosphere.
