On the physics of partially static turbines

H. Grassmann, F. Bet, M. Ceschia and M.L. Ganis

Renewable Energy, 2004, vol. 29, issue 4, 491-499

Abstract: In the past, there were many attempts to augment the power of wind turbines by means of diffuser systems or similar, but since these attempts did not respect energy- and momentum conservation, they have not been successful.
