Determination of correlations of solar radiation measured in Tetouan

El H. Aroudam, M. El Hammouti and H. Ezbakhe

Renewable Energy, 1992, vol. 2, issue 4, 473-476

Abstract: In this paper, we develop the existing correlations between the clearness index Kt, the nebulosity index Kd and the sunshine fraction σ, and the correlation relating Mt = I/Io and the hourly diffuse radiation on a horizontal surface under cloudless sky in Tetouan (Morocco) (35°35′N, 5°23′W), whose climate is very unstable and often with a cloud sky. The results obtained are compared with those of other authors from different locations.
