Performance analysis between thermopile and silicon solarimeters

Abstract:
Analysis of the difference in performance between a Moll-Gorczynski thermopile and a temperature-compensated silicon photovoltaic cell taking into consideration the spectral distribution of diffuse and direct solar radiation at 35° and 15° solar altitude revealed a similar tendency for both instruments.
