A simple method to enhance thermal conductivity of charcoal using some additives

O.M.M. Eltom and A.A.M. Sayigh

Renewable Energy, 1994, vol. 4, issue 1, 113-118

Abstract: An experiment has been done to enhance the thermal conductivity of charcoal bed in the absence of the adsorbate. Two additive substances of high thermal conductivity have been used with two types of charcoal, raw and activated. An improvement of 2–25% has been achieved in the charcoal's thermal conductivity.
