Adsorption capability of charcoal: A comparison study of some activated and non-activated charcoal samples

Abstract: Experiments were carried out to determine the adsorption capability of some commercial activate and non-activated charcoal samples woth methanol to select the mosst favourable pair to be used in solar adsorption refrigeration system. The results obtained are presented. A simple method has been used to enhance the adsorption capability of the lumpwood charcoal.
