Abstract:
The indoor monitoring of carbon monoxide and suspended particulate matter (SPM) was carried out for a 1-h fuelwood combustion period in traditional and portable metallic cookstoves. The benzo (a) pyrene content present in the SPM was also determined. The monitoring was carried out at three different positions in the indoor environment. Results are presented in brief and discussed.
