Applied solar energy plants in a hospital in Northern Ghana

Thomas Merkle

Renewable Energy, 1994, vol. 5, issue 1, 454-456

Abstract: Different small scale solar systems are useful devices in areas with a high amount of solar irradiation for providing hospitals with additional energy where the conventional energy supply is insufficient. Particularly for specialised devices like water pumps, medical sterilizers, water distillation and emergency lighting systems, the energy demand can be covered through solar energy.
