Abstract:
The main obstacle to the large application of photovoltaics at present in Egypt is cost. It is expected that by improving the efficiency and reliability of PV technology, large markets will be created at the end of this decade which in turn will result in a declining price of implementation of the technology. The prospects of local manufacture are considered to further improve costs and develop markets.
