Abstract:
A new method for treating photovoltaic solar cell front surfaces is presented in this article. The cell front surfaces are treated by electrodeposition of heteropolyanions. Improvements in the I–V characteristics of the solar cells have been observed. We also noticed that this treatment causes a 12.61% increase in the short-circuit current and an 11% increase in the efficiency.
