Abstract:
The Institute of Eletrotechnics and Energy of São Paulo University - São Paulo, Brazil started at the end of 1994 its activities in photovoltaic system characterization and tests. The paper describes the laboratory testing facility for modules, ballasts and charge regulators. Some minimal standard requirements for ballast and charge regulators for SHS were figured out.
