Abstract:
Amorphous silicon based photovoltaic modules were tested with a view to understand the photovoltaic behavior under outdoor conditions. It was demonstrated that no long term light-induced degradation exists in recent a-Si modules. The advantages of a-Si modules were also studied. Analyzing the data obtained from exposure tests, we presented that under practical working conditions a-Si modules generate electric energy very efficiently.
