Renewable energy and the ODA

Gareth Martin

Renewable Energy, 1996, vol. 9, issue 1, 1098-1103

Abstract: Promoting the introduction of appropriate use of renewable energy is one of the three main areas of ODA's energy efficiency strategy. Activities as part of the strategy include bilateral aid, mainly as technical assistance and involvement in a number of multilateral initiatives. ODA supported research projects also consider how best to introduce the use of appropriate renewable energy applications, in general and specific instances.
