Abstract:
Discontinuity in solar energy makes it so we have to use storage energy systems to respond to the energy need. The present paper shows an experimental study about sensible energy storage in a rockbed which is contained in cylindrical ducts disposed horizontally beneath the soil in a tunnel greenhouse. The study presents the efficiency of the rockbed through the analysis of the different recorded parameters mainly inlet and outlet temperatures of the rockbed and the solar radiation.
