Abstract:
Solar cookers are rather important applications in thermal solar energy conversion. They can be used in rural areas and all over the places where fossil fuels and biomass is no available. There have been already many versions of solar cookers developed but they are in most cases immobile due to its dimensions and weight. In the paper we describe the basic idea and thermal characteristics of the new developed solar cooker called Solarball.
