Abstract:
During the 1970s, the American economy went through a period of reducedgrowth and elevated inflation. This led to a resentment against traditional liberal economicsand to the election of Reagan. This comment presents the economic policy of Reagan andthe probable impact in the American society. JEL Classification: E60; H50; H11.
