Notes on agriculture in the short term

Abstract:
Albeit representing only 10% of the GDP, the agricultural sector plays a significantrole in the result and stabilization of the Brazilian economy. This paper aims to understandthe dynamics of the sector in the shorter run, differently from other studies that primarilyfocus on the longer run, with attention to the formation of prices in agriculture, andhow inflation, recession, and stabilization policies affect the sector.
