Knowledge Transfer through European Project Management

Abstract:
Knowledge transfer is a dominant subject within the present society based on globalisation and on a tremandous development of informational technology. The present paper is presenting some new trends in Project Management, aplicable to knowledge transfer projects. Along with these new trends, the paper is highlightening the lesson learned in a special knowledge transfer project within MATRA/PSO program of Romanian's European Union pre-accessing efforts. Its deals with a sensitive issue of Quality Assurance implementation in Romanian universities based on the best practice from the European universities. This project showed the importance of transnational knowledge and know-how transfer, in parallel with strenthening the institutional capacity of processing these kind of new inputs.
