Marketing Specialization in the Sanitary-Veterinary Field

Abstract: Public health and food safety are main consumer rights in the European Union. Sanitary standards related to animal health, animal welfare, food production are developed and standardizEditura The objective is to detect, diagnose and control animal diseases and to have a safe food chain. Although the input of the animal health industry is low in the agricultural production, it allows European farmers to produce high quality meat and dairy products, minimise environmental impact. Romania as a future member of EU has to change its vision about feed and food safety and adopt a system which will allow competing internationally. This article aims to define some concepts of the animal health industry and what challenges has to face a marketer.
